Yes, absolutely. Returns earned by you are visible in real-time in your customer balance, and there are no lockups or withdrawal fees. Withdrawals may take 2 -5 business days. We set up Debut to have no hidden catches.

There are no minimum deposits for our Stack option. Start small with $100 or even just $10. For our Build option there is a $3,000 minimum deposit, and the minimum deposit for our Boost option is $5,000.

Measures Debut takes to keep your money safe:

1. We have strict auditing requirements when selecting DeFi platforms and implement tools to monitor their performance regularly.

2. Loans made through the DeFi applications are secured by digital assets (generally 125% of the loan value) that are automatically sold if they lose value or if there is any chance the loan won’t be paid back in full, meaning original investments are safely returned.

4. Debut uses strict standards of information security and encryption. We utilise secure login processes with two-factor authentication and store digital assets with a qualified custodian.

5. We use an institutional digital assets custody and transfer solution. This gives us robust capability against cyber attacks, and is trusted by hundreds of digital asset businesses around the world.

Wherever possible Debut uses insurance provided by decentralised finance protocols to mitigate these risks.

When you transfer money to us it is held on trust for you in a bank account in the name of our appointed trustee, before the money is used to acquire digital assets. These digital assets are also held on trust for you by our appointed trustee. The digital assets are then transferred into third party DeFi applications which use them to make loans, or enter into other digital asset transactions, and generate a return. Any interests and rights the trustee has in relation to this are held on trust for you. As a trust, these assets will not be available to our general creditors, or the general creditors of the trustee.

Like any other investment, returns are not guaranteed with Debut. There is a risk you may lose some or all of the money you have invested. You should also be aware that there is no difference in the risk of investing in our different investment options. The different targeted returns reflect the different fees we charge for the different options.

DeFi insurance does not eliminate these risks as the insurance may not cover certain events or losses, and the decentralised finance protocols may themselves be subject to similar or other risks.

Technology is key to all the benefits of Debut, but all tech comes with some risks. Although it’s very unlikely, there is a chance that the Smart Contract behind a DeFi loan could break due to a bug.

Your Debut investments are channelled through third party platforms that govern the lending and borrowing and other digital assets transactions e.g. automated market making. Debut only uses the most qualified, trusted, and reliable DeFi applications. We have strict auditing requirements when selecting these platforms and implement tools to monitor their performance regularly. However, if a third party platform suffers a security breach or other loss, you may suffer a loss of some or all of your account balance. Debut invests in DeFi insurance to mitigate that risk further.
